Another Mini Rant
Just downloaded my Game roms and retroarch onto my laptop, instead of a usb/hardrive, then I'll save both onto my games folder on my TB hard drive. Apparently Android is getting locked down by Google for "safety reasons" I'm starting to believe that corporations just want an excuse to get people's gov IDs and of coarse they want people to use their bs LLM Ai crap as well, so typical. I still hope the LLM AI bubble bursts and these stupid corporations learn something for releasing half-baked LLM AI programs. I guess I'll switch to a linux Mobile OS, or just get a backup linux phone, since my Motorola Razr+ 2024 uses Android.

The same here. This stinks. TPM chips, attestation, ID requirements. The short age of free information flow and user-centred computing is over. Gates always wanted to lock down the PC market. His company has done that, even in his absence. Apple have done that. Google have done that. Power, freedom, choice has been excavated from the public sphere and public hands.
Free Software Foundation is silent. Why? This shit flies in the face of everything they've campaigned for since their inception.

The only thing I can really do is just use Lagrange on my laptop, whenever my phone gets locked down. I hate this open-source disappearing era tbh. 🙁

BBS has subs in order to classify posts by topic. please don't just post from your nick. nick-posts are visible on the front page in order to (probably) give everyone a chance to introduce themselves: nice thing. please just don't feed the front page with random thoughts. one or two posts to say hello suffice. this is not facebook.
Userspace posts appear on the front page by default, so this is not generally frowned upon. We have the automatic grouping feature to account for someone who posts frequently.
@bsj38381 You might consider marking some of your posts as omitted from All Posts, but it's totally up to you.
@CarloMonte You can hide individual userspaces from your All Posts feed by going to the /u/ page and muting the subspace (not the user).

@admin: but i find a lot of @bsj38381 posts really good. i don't want to filter by person, but by topic. with subspaces, i could filter topics. exactly this is the difference between the essences of reddit and facebook: one is per-topic, the other one per-source. the question is: which do we want to have?

I guess you guys could move my post to US-Politics or Random subspace, hmm. And tbh, I wasn't sure where to post my mini rant honestly. And sometimes I post sketches on my main account, and for finished artwork, it gets posted to the Art subspace. I'll try to organize my random thoughts better, sorry about that. (I still want to make my own capsule, I'll just find a hosting service on here)

Also, crap. I should've introduced myself on here first.

There are Linux phones out there. This might be the kick in the pants needed to get them to suck less.

I'm hoesntly thinking of getting the Pro 1X phone for my Linux phone. I also like that is has a physical keybaord, which is pretty nice.
