Just started playing Stellaris. I'm really loving the game so far!

I would obviously have loved a sequel with a better engine and graphics, but the existing players have to bash sequels before they're even in development, so everyone has to deal with a 10 year old game engine that struggles with high load all because of existing players' skewed expectations.

@Nexy Yeah, there's a ton of DLCs. That's the other reason it should probably get a sequel, so all the DLCs can be put into one package! Lol.

@Nexy This game is actually making me want to watch the Star Trek TV Shows some more :D

My only criticism of Stellaris right now is I don't like having to design ships, or modify them after I get new ship components researched. I want that to be done automatically, because there's already 5 million things I have to think about, thinking about ship building on top of everything else is just way too much, lol.

@clseibold It's funny that you mention Star Trek, because when I saw this post I was about to mention the Star Trek version of Stellaris! It's made by the same team, and while the rating on the Steam store is *very* low, I actually really enjoyed it. I put 73 hours into it and got 46/50 achievements... https://store.steampowered.com/app/1622900/Star_Trek_Infinite/

Regular Stellaris is fun too, but they're really milking their customers completely dry with all of the DLC. Only maybe three or four of them are actually worth buying, the rest is just greedy cruft.

@RubyMaelstrom Yeah, I did see the Star Trek one. I was thinking about trying it.
