I'm having a bit of a life crisis. I can't talk about it, instead I'm gonna talk about this. I have so many Allen wrenches. Some are in a toolbox in the garage, neatly organized and complete in it's set. Some are in my dresser, loose. Some are old, and rubber banded in a box in the office, and some are in kitchen drawers. It bothers me so much that they are not all in the same place and that I don't know what sizes they are. Can anyone help?

Man, same here... Everything comes with a couple, and I cannot throw them out. I have a giant bag now...

Some are so crappy they may be made of pot metal. Others are decent...

But in the end I pretty much use one Allen wrench for everything.

Are we talking about allen wrenches, or is it a metaphor for something else now?

@stack , @hanzbrix hit the nail in the head.

I like the idea of just melting them all together into one. I also like the idea of throwing them all out and just not have any, but I don't think I'll be able to do that. why is it so hard to get rid of Allen wrenches? I started categorizing them last night. Couldn't sleep.

I have an Allen wrench for a 2.5 cm bolt. It doesn't fit anything I own but at that size it's a decent hammer/weapon.

I used to have a giant spanner wrench from 1920's, I kept it in the car and waved it menacingly at people (who deserved) out the window. My wife was not happy with that, but I thought it was hilarious.
