It could be a combination of the thin font and it being in italic on a low-dpi display that makes it look poor. I will likely add some options for the quote style, so one can use a regular text font for those as well.

It is already possible to make a fontpack that uses a non-italic font as the "italic" font variant. It is fairly easy to download one of the existing ones and edit the contained .ini file accordingly.

Any idea why the italic font used for quoted material is pixelated as shown in the above picture? The body font is Noto Sans, and the pixelation is definitely worse in that font than others.
