I hate voicemail 📞

If I called you, it's because I needed to speak to you. I could have sent you a message in any number of ways, but I chose not to do so BECAUSE I NEEDED TO SPEAK TO YOU. So no, I do not want to leave a message.

There was a time when my choices were either calling you or writing a letter. Leaving a message was a useful middle option. [Mildly nostalgic moment for answer machines with tiny cassette tapes inside] But those days are gone.
