A Cool Gemini Capsule (Literally)

While traveling to Washington DC to attend today's Hands Off Protests against the semi-sentient spray tan that rules our country, I had the good fortune to also have time to go by the incredible National Air and Space Museum on the National Mall. And I saw a Gemini Capsule that predated capsules like `conman.org` or `mozz.us`, or even @solderpunk own `zaibatsu.circumlunar.space` by over 50 years.

I saw a literal Gemini Capsule: Gemini VII.

Also, if you are a plane and/or space and/or military nerd, I cannot over-recommend the National Air and Space Museum branch at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center near Dulles. You walk in to see a head-on view of an SR-71 Blackbird. Only after you get over this do you realize that **behind** the Blackbird is the Space Shuttle *Discovery*, which went to space 39 times. An F4 Phantom, A P38 Lightning, both a Mercury AND a Gemini capsule, the freaking Enola Gay, the only surviving Horten flying wing. It's an incredible collection. Go treat yourself.
