I keep seeing all of this injustice and corruption everywhere I look. I always thought that I'd feel better once I turned 18 and would be able to vote and drink and stuff; but I still feel as powerless as ever.
I sometimes have dreams about randomly catching a train to London and doing something practical; but that's pretty damn unrealistic.
What the fuck can I do to make things better?

So I'm at my gran's right now and the main fuse has blown. While we wait for Northern Powergrid to arrive, my dad's taken the liberty of changing the socket behind the sofa, since the old one is broken.
Anyway, it turns out that none of her sockets are earthed, so it's a miracle nobody's been electrocuted in the 60+ years the family's been living here.

Just switched to siduction with Xfce on my ThinkPad (the hostname is Amethyst). It's Debian Sid, but with bug fixes and held packages to provide a more stable experience while still running the latest packages. I liked my Arch+i3 system, but it's good to mix it up once in a while.
I might have a carve-up on all my laptops. I've noticed that DNF is very slow on LapisLazuli...

I suppose it's just part of the chaos that comes with any new technology, but I'm getting annoyed by the number of gemini capsules and gopher holes that are disappearing or being abandoned. Half of the capsules I've bookmarked in Lagrange haven't been updated since 2022 and it's making geminispace feel quite lonely, like regular space.
