Greetings to all in alt.2600.madrid, hispagatos.talk, alt.2600,

and es.comp.hackers Usenet newsgroups, HTTP, Gemini and Matrix.

We are excited to announce that our hacker collective, "Hispagatos," has begun

participating in this season's HackTheBox competition.

"Introducing HTB Season 6: Heist | Hack The Box" [2]

Our team, a mix of veteran

and new hackers, is gathering on the Matrix protocol chat system channels:

Here on Usenet, we are in alt.2600.madrid and hispagatos.talk.

And we collaborate on Revolt [3] for voice and detailed collaboration on

each HTB box channel with its own name.

Hispagatos stands out because we adhere strictly to the original hacker ethics as

described by Steven Levy and the principles laid out by 2600 Magazine and the CCC

(Computer Chaos Club). This means we strictly avoid closed-source (non-free)

software or operating systems, aligning with the Free Software Foundation (FSF)

ideals. We go beyond mere free software; we embody all facets of the hacker

ethics.

We are not just computer hackers; we are activists, musicians, DJs, graffiti

writers, anarchists, rebels, critical thinkers, students, security professionals,

hobbyists, and more.

If you wish to join our CTF's hacking team, we ask that you share our ethics,

passion, and care for the world.

Computers have the potential to free us but also to enslave us. We must

uphold hacker ethics for future generations, resisting predatory software like

WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and closed operating systems like MS Windows and

AppleOS, just to unfortunately name a few that are enslaving human beings

where users lack control over their digital environment.

Join us, and let's hack the world together with integrity and purpose.

And always remember "Hacking Is Not A Crime [6]"

In solidarity,

Hispagatos Collective

ReK2 and Arcane

Happy Hacking!

Hispagatos is an Anarcho Hacker collective[1] that resolves around the Hacker ethic[2] of Steven levy and Libertarian Socialism ideas.

We work hard to preserve hacker culture, decentralization, security and privacy in cyberspace and also motivate towards an horizontal and non hierarchical techno-anarcho-communist society (TACS) where technology is made by people for the people not by corporate masters to control people. a(A)a
