I hate that receiving an e-mail like this has to be checked instead of immediately celebrated, it would hurt even more knowing that it's super rare to be contacted without sending a formal request to be considered in the selection process and it being real would mean I'm worth being considered by an institution... Also they look super inclusive and everything...

Seriously, if it's a scam, it's a cruel one. Domain and profile look legitimate, content too... Reading "you've been selected by our gallery committee's and we think your art has the right tone to be displayed to our investors" as an emergent artist that had no formal acknowledgement of their work yet really gets to you, and it sucks to have to be hyper aware of that too!

Have a man in America I crushed on since November, 2023.
Discovered in January, 2025 it was reciprocal. And still there.
I'm just dreaming, but he's remaking his passport and international travel papers. I am, too.
We discovered almost by accident we shared so much things during that time. I don't know if life will ever allow us to be a thing, but I really love him. I feel my presence is sought for and not only lusted for.

Just see how many people stop at the ai overlook and deem it the absolute truth - CONCERNING, as one would say! But it is. I swear it's not looking too much into it that to say that people are unwilling to do their actual own thinking and not look above technical success - To see that it is not always the goal, and that precise thing, with our own styles and perceptions, sometimes flawed, is what makes us human and creation/reading/writing interesting.
