< music? makes me happy

~dwaynan

I try to keep a few bills on me for buskers and beggars now that I'm (somewhat) gainfully employed, but I often forget to withdraw when I run out. I don't run into too many of either around here, anyway, though. I used to live in a city where I'd go out for a walk some days and run into three or four people playing music in different squares to different ends. There was even a fellow who'd practice bagpipe at night in the square near our apartment...I think we scared him off by saying hello one night, though.

that sounds really nice! oh wow. i forget that people usually don't use cash anymore. i'm still a student, so i usually have some change on hand. pretty handy for these things :)

i think beggars are illegal where i live, if i remember correctly. pretty sure one would need to get a busking license/permit before they are allowed to busk here, but it's still very neat and they do sound really good.
