They made being homeless illegal where I live. You used to see them around city centre at the train station, sleeping on benches, and not harming anyone. Then the bank building decided to renovate itself for some reason, and since that change, the benches have become decidedly anti-homeless and there is a stronger police presence.
I love this town, but it's changed a lot in the past few years
