I want a browser add-on (firefox or chromium) that scans the content of a webpage, and determines the liklihood that it was generated by a bot. Some of these "answer" pages with "info" are so, so bad. They don't present the information in a logical structure, or build on what's been written previously... it's like a series of chatGPT2 outputs strung together with 70mb of javascript. If I could be warned as the page loads (or better yet, before clicking the link), it would save my time, and everyone's electrical resources. Is there anything like that out there right now?

That moment when your script runs just right. For the n-th time, with no problems, saving you hours of work in your non-tech-field career. ::chef's kiss:: Gotta love it.

ESP32's compromised? What do you makers make of this? How serious a "backdoor" is this? https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/undocumented-backdoor-found-in-bluetooth-chip-used-by-a-billion-devices/

I wonder how many bots there are on station. Is there even a way to tell?

How do I make a post on station that contains a new line or a new paragraph? My usual \n and/or \r didn't work. I'm running amfora. Is there some kind of &CRLF wizardry?

Question: when I see those flags/warnings that say that a site' s certificate has changed... what am I supposed to do? Is there a repository of places where people can register and say "yep, that was me who changed it" or "nope, I didn't change my certificate, so watch out" ?

Have you all seen Wordsquirreler? It's a pretty neat little gemini anagram game. gemini://gemini.thegonz.net/wsq/

I'm interested in a wearable step-counter that doesn't come with privacy issues. Step-counting could be done entirely locally, without even needing a smartphone. Do any of you know of one that works? What's your experience been?

Is there some kind of "what's my ip dot com" for gemini?

What would it take to get an astro/cosmonaut on the ISS to start/maintain a capsule, and post on station?

I think I want to start a gemlog, but I'm not ready to self-host yet. Any suggestions on where I could/should look for hosting? There's so many and I don't know which ones are geared for specific communities. Where's a good general place to start?

Is there some kind of static-site generator for gemlogs? Or not the software itself, but a standard set of style guides for things like "this will make your gemlog more easily navigable by adding the appropriate links to the ends of documents, collecting an index, dating files properly, and adding tags iff wanted? Or is that against the spirit of the protocol, and I should continue using the bash scripts I've cobbled together towards that purpose?

What are the chances that the first message an intelligent species sends (or receives) across the stars is going to be some variant of a 'hello world' ? :: HIGH
