One example of why I love Gemini: The F-Droid version of deedum, my preferred client on Android, has not been updated since April 2022. Every capsule still works as perfectly as it did when I first installed deedum 3 years ago. No Web browser can give me that level of stability.

bit of warning: it's quite a work in progress, and I'm learning as I go. Never wrote dart or flutter before, I'm adding support for things as I find them. Also, I don't have lots of time to do it.

@jmcs I'm trying out your updated version now. The feature additions are excellent! I like visiting Bitreich over Gopher, and it's nice to be able to do so without leaving deedum. 路 1 week ago
Shameless plug: I'm not deedum 's original author, but have been adding some features to it recently (ANSI colors, remembering certs for pages, lately rudimentary gopher support...
