Chapter two is about deciding the desired outcome, but to me it underscores an extremely important although possibly counter intuitive idea: It does not matter at all who is right. Our rule seeking as children somehow instills in us this idea that all you have to do is be right, but that has very little persuasive power. If anything, it’s more coercive than persuasive.
