A Melody

Obviously drawing the scale going upwards may tend towards a result that mostly goes upwards (and then maybe back down again), so here instead the scale was drawn downwards and then fiddled with, which resulted in a mostly down and then back up line, though the overall arc is masked by smaller note groups, and there's a piano and drum set for who knows what reasons.

There are various other melodic arcs, so getting the initial scale (or scales) into some sort close enough shape and then tweaking that around might be a good plan.

The name is on account of the key A Major being used, except when it is not; perhaps someone more clever at harmony can figure out what is going on (having a harmonic plan and a larger scale structure might yield larger scale works).
