Look, I'm the Victim Here

My last post concerned how to make friends through kidnapping their pets and children.

Now, I've received a lot of criticism for this (not really; just amusement and the occasional comment about me being weird which, to be fair, is more a statement of fact).

The first sections of that post related to the cat Bamse. I kidnapped him, subsequently returned him, and then become partly adopted by him.

At this point I'm not sure whether I or he is the victim in this arrangement. At least his owner knows about him expanding his domains into mine and she doesn't mind. And he and the kids love each other.

This situation has worsened significantly. Sometimes I can't go to the bathroom, make dinner, or go to bed because Bamse is lying on my lap or belly.

And now it's going to become even worse! His owner contacted me to say that she will be moving house in November. The area she'll be moving to isn't well suited for outdoor cats, and she wondered if I can take over ownership of Bamse.

Do I have a choice in the matter? Officially, yes, but realistically he already owns me and the children.

Poor me, right?
