What is your personal opinion on Radiohead's Kid A?

Rhubarb is my favorite Apex Twin song tbh. And I can't really think of a favorite song from the Beatles, since a lot of them are pretty good, I mostly like their later albums songs.

Listening to the radio and Touch of Grey by the Grateful Dead came on. For some strange reason my first thought went back to being a kid in the 80's and getting the single on this flexible paper record that came in the sunday paper. Does anyone else remember the flexi-disc?

Here's a nice album from Lemur that I liked very much. It's on Funkwhale, a Fediverese audio platform. [https link] On Open Audio [https link] Band info on Discogs I also quite like Half Man Half Biscuit and they just released a new album: [https link] All Asimov And No Fresh Air (band site) of these, I liked 'McCalliog And His Hens' the most. a full album multi link for all you streaming nerds: [https link] the same album (an all streaming platforms multi-link page) Your turn Edit: just found...

SunVox — is a virtual modular synthesizer, with a tracker-style pattern grid for input sequencing, and a 2D grid for pattern arrangement. (So, patterns of different lengths with different numbers of tracks can play concurrently while having started at different times.) Connect modules within the pane on the right, adjust a selected module's parameters on the left, create/arrange patterns and edit their properties on the...

New (very) proggy stuff — The YouTube channel MakeWeirdMusic 's latest episode features Tonnen Von Hall, a band that takes the angular, intricate aggression of King Crimson’s 2000-era sound and pushes it into even more intense and unrelenting territory. I recommend listening to Kaiserlicht, the 9th track if you're into any kind of proggy goodness. [https link] or listen to it on the band's website

Thought I might throw you a pointer at two albums I made with past bands, one is entirely a cappella ([gemini link]), the other one indie songwriter ([gemini link]). Enjoy! Sorry for posting inline links, this is my first BBS message and I didn't know how to format correctly.

Goo Man! — Joined the Geminiverse today and have been having a blast with it. Was checking out DiscoGem earlier and stumbled across the container for Goo Man through it. I'd recommend their music! Checked them out on Spotify and has a nice chill vibe.

My first album, Astronomy Nights, is out — I finally dared to publish some of my songs under the artistic name Whispering Cosmos. These tracks have been here, collecting dust until I decided to arrange them and give them a cover. I will link the Bandcamp page, but there's also a place in my gemini capsule you can go and get a tarball with them all. Hope you like it.

Lofi-hop track I wrote back in 2018 — Inspired by the last post by u/AlbertLarsan68 , I have published an old track of mine with lofi vibes. Even if it got rejected from all lofi channels I wrote to, I always enjoyed listening to this track at late night. I played all instruments on this track, except drums.

Releasing your own music — So, this is more of a question than anything. I have been accruing some music I've written, performed and recorded. I'm finishing mixing and mastering the tracks and it is now the time to see about releasing the stuff. The thing is that I want to do the release as Creative Commons and let people donate what they want. I was thinking of going to Bandcamp since they allow this. But then, some doubts came along. Is that all? I post it online, with a tag saying "some...

New artwork and song from Stafetten 2 — There is now a fourth artwork and the fifth musical response published for the (still Gemini exclusive) Stafetten 2 project. Stafetten is Swedish for "relay race" and that is what it is, or perhaps more like a whispering game, really. This time a summerly field was responded to with some live acoustic piano, a first for me in terms of recording. I hope you find this project...
