Descant Public Licence 1.1 — Hey, I made a new licence, this time for music (or I suppose any sort of audio). Unlike last time (Anti-Harm License 1.0, aka AHL), this licence doesn't include specific "illegal" uses of the media. Also unlike last time, I'm not going to delete the license from existence. If anyone has a problem with it, tell me what exactly I should do better, and I will do a point release....

Random question. I'm planning to buy a new laptop for uni, since I've just broken my ten-year-old MacBook. I have decided on a ThinkPad T450, but I need some help deciding on the hostname. On one hand, since it's a ThinkPad, I could call it Amethyst-II (my T400 is called Amethyst). On the other hand, since it's replacing my MacBook, I could call it Pearl-III (the MacBook was called Pearl-II, and my first MacBook was just called Pearl). What do you think?

I keep seeing all of this injustice and corruption everywhere I look. I always thought that I'd feel better once I turned 18 and would be able to vote and drink and stuff; but I still feel as powerless as ever. I sometimes have dreams about randomly catching a train to London and doing something practical; but that's pretty damn unrealistic. What the fuck can I do to make things better?
